Nubia Red Magic 3: a Game monster with 8K video recording support

When the first Razer Phone smartphone came out two years ago, it also created a new market for other manufacturers. ZTE, a Chinese company with its Nubia Red Magic gaming smartphone series, is now trying to make it into its third generation. And the Nubia Red Magic 3 can really be called a game monster. It has a large operating memory, a large battery, two types of cooling and especially video shooting support at 8K resolution.

High performance with advanced cooling

Nubia Red Magic 3 features a typical futuristic design with sharp elements and a neon strip on the back. The front is dominated by a 6.65-inch FHD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, relieving the eyes of the mobile player. The touch layer even responds to the player’s fingers at 240 Hz. There are also stereo speakers and a 4D vibration system.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor with 6GB to 12GB of RAM takes care of performance. He will be assisted by the second generation of ICE liquid cooling and a real fan to reduce temperatures by up to 16 degrees Celsius. According to the manufacturer, heat dissipation should be increased by up to 500%. Internal memory can be 64GB, 128GB or 256GB.

Large battery and 8K video

On the back, we find a camera with a 48-megapixel sensor IMX586 from Sony. Its luminosity is f / 1.7. The main attraction, however, is shooting videos in 8K resolution and slowing FullHD videos. Under the camera, we can find an LED flash and atypical impression sensor.

Another good feature is a battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which can be charged via USB-C connector 27W by fast charging. Nubia Red Magic 3 comes to market in black, red, gradient red and camouflage color at a price of 385 to 575 euros according to the memory variant.
